Hair breaking rotten and thinning?
now i barely enjoy any hair left due to it falling out and presently ive also noticed its not just falling out but also breaking sour about 5 inches from the scalp and the little parts that are still attached frizz up and make my spine look like a disaster
ive never colored, dyed, or done anything to my hair
i dont even straigten or curl it
IVE NEVER CUT my spine ethier. my mom wont let me. shes a wierd freak about it.thats probably factor of the problem
what im trying to figure out is what can i do to fix it.
its very long and stringy.
i individual wash it twice a week to preserve the natural oil in it and i use head and shoulders because my doc reccomended it.
i help yourself to biotin supplements about 1500 mcg everyday and a multivitamin too. biotin is supposed to promote hair growth.
what else can i and should i be doing?
i want to increase mass, defintely not the length.
Answers: I'm sorry you're going through this. But there is a condition that sounds very similar to your's. It's call "Telogen Effluvium". And with it, hair doesn't exactly "jump down out", but it starts to thin out and like you, the tresses will break off near the scalp. It usually occur when there's a "shock" to the system. Either due to stress, chronic illness, severe infection, even medications. I do believe that the supplements you're taking could hold something to do with it. Sometimes, if you have too much of a vitamin or mineral within your body, you can start getting weird symptoms due to toxicity. I would talk to your doctor if you're really worried give or take a few it. In the meantime, massage your scalp. Massaging your scalp helps next to blood flow, and good blood flow to the scalp helps promote fleece growth.
Good luck and God Bless =)

There is also an autoimmune condition known as "Alopecia". There are 3 types of this. There's alopecia areata, which causes pelt loss only on the head, alopecia universalis which cause hair loss on the scalp and face, and alopecia totalis which cause hair loss on the scalp, face, and body.
It's usually diagnosed by a doctor examining your scalp. Alopecia areata usually shows itself as big, small, or big circular bald spots on the scalp. To treat it, you can inject the site with steroids. That route, the steroids aren't affecting your whole body..
