Is a sore pap smear ok?

I had my first pap smear when i be 18 (I was a virgin at the time) next another 2 years later. and my third pap smear today. every time they own been rough. the first one was so scratchy I cried a little and yell. the second one was greatly painful also. the dr a short time ago kept saying relax relax relax your muscles and backbone. but i just couldnt. this third time be not so bad. could it be because i simply need to receive used to it? ive only have sex once. and im very petite. but its almost the worste misery ive felt. should i be concerned? the dr say im just rigid but ive never heard of anyone reaction much pain at adjectives when i read the womenanswers.org here... so i feel close to something is odd more or less me. it feels too sensitive and enormously painful to me.
(i lubed myself since the exam just to try to assist. I think it did somewhat.)

everytime i have pap its unconfortable. hold you talk to you doctor something like it. you have merely had sex once so you vagina hasn't really stretched. i wouldn't be to conserned sweety. but consult to your doc about it

I'd choose a different doctor, and try for a woman. I imagine you'd discern more comfortable. Explain your problems to her ahead of time. If she is not compassionate, walk out.

If it doesn't hurt, they didn't do it right. My wife complains going on for it for a week after she gets hers

It is not that uncomfortable. If you just relax approaching the Doctor said the exam will be over with back you know it. Don't get so strained.

paps dont hurt very well at least most females i hav talk to say their dont and none of mine enjoy. It might be that u r nervous and anxious.

Yeah, the doctor would tell you if it wasn't okay. Like, if something showed up that wasn't supposed to. I don't know a woman that doesn't find them uncomfortable- but the more nervous or nervous you are, the worse it will be, so I ruminate you need to try some relaxation technique before your subsequent one.

A pap is never comfortable for me. Painful, to a level. When they take the taster, they're scraping the collector against your cervix. When I be pregnant, it hurt when the doctor would check my cervix for dialation. And, the pap does hurt me a little. Relaxing would probably relieve somewhat. I think some race are more sensitive to the test than others though. Going for the annual gyn exam cause some tension as economically, so I close my eyes and try to think of something soothing during the exam.

Now you got me startled. I just turned 21 and they want me to find a pap smear but I don't want to because I don't think I necessitate to. Everybody tells me I should do it only to be safe anyway but I really am self-conscious with it. I tried researching it on the network but it didn't make me perceive any better. However, i did see on several sites that a pap smear might hurt when they scrape the cervix because of the nerves here. They try to be careful to avoid you the most spasm but some people's nerves are more sensitive than others. I also agree near some of the other people, you might relax rather more and feel more comfortable if it be a woman doctor instead of a man.

I'm sure if you tense up it'll probably form it worse but even if you didn't it would still feel close to the worse pain you've ever feel.

If there's any positive grace I think it's that you individual have to go and get them every 3 years but even that's too often.
