Discharge is nature way of with ease cleansing your body. If there is a color or odor to it, you may own an infection of some sort, but if it is clear and odorless it is just your body's unconscious lubricant. Wear a panty-liner and don't stress about it...
clear should be normal. Infection usually colours mucus to a green or ashen or white discharge.
Vaginal Discharge
Vaginal discharge is normal and vary during your menstrual cycle. Before ovulation (the release of the egg), there is A LOT of mucous produced, up to 30X more than after ovulation. It is also more runny and elastic during that phase of your cycle. You may want to wear panty liner during that time.
The things to be worried about include if the discharge have a yellow or green color, is clumpy close to cottage cheese, or has a fruitless odor. If worried, see a doctor.

With that said, here is my best answer to the common grill of vaginal discharge.
A normal vaginal discharge consists of roughly a teaspoon (4 ML) a day specifically white or transparent, thick to filmy, and odorless. This is formed by the normal germs and fluids the vaginal cells put bad. The discharge can be more noticeable at different times of the month depending on ovulation, menstrual flow, sexual movement and birth control.
It is not uncommon for the typical discharge to be dark, brown or discolored a daylight or two following the menstrual period.

You don't own to be sexually active to bring back thrush, it's a yeast infection. There's a good coincidence they'll just say aloud it's a normal discharge and not treat it. Try one of those bio-yoghurt drinks every sunshine - like Actimel or Yakult. They increase the production of fighting fit bacteria which stops the build up of wan yeasty bacteria. They fancy better than you would think and did the trick for me.Cheers
