I had full abdominal hysterectomy 3 weeks ago. Still in deeply of pain. Went back to hospital 1 week after operation near bleeding from vagina. Apparently I had a large blood clot which have burst and a stitch in the vagina had broken, so in consequence leakage from clot. Still leaking and can't do anything as I receive sooo tired and pain. Any feedback from women who have have the same op would be really appreciated.

I had my hysterectomy when I be 26. I am now 48. It ususlly takes around six weeks to start response better. As each week went by it get easier and easier. By around three months post-op I felt really good. It is a completely traumatic thing to have at any time. Major surgery. Once you start to perceive back to your normal self you won't look subsidise. One of the reason's you feel so tired is because it takes pretty some time to be fully clear of the anaesthetic they give you. Just wondering if you still have your ovaries intact?
