Swimming - Period give a hand!?

Hi. I'm going to a camp this summer, and we'll be doing some swimming in a pool as one of our "recreational actions." I think I might hold my period during the military camp (it's 3 weeks long), and I am not comfortable at ALL using tampons. How can I tell my teacher/counselor that I can't swim that sunshine? Is there any okay channel to tell him/her? Will other family make a big settlement of it?

i am at camp to, individually i dont go the light of day there going to swim but if they go swimming everyday, i am sure here is another girl that isnt swimming either, so you guys can only hang. but if you dont touch comfortable talking near the conselor about it, ask your mom or dad to write a epistle saying you wont know how to swim for a few days.

I dont know if its true for everyone but i was told that when you time of year is on and you get into river the blood doesnt come out. I tried and no blood didnt come out until after i got out the pool and i be in near for about 2 to three hours!
