Waxing vagina?

I'm wondering whether or not I should wax my vagina, is it really painful? I've shaved it in the past, but I noticed that I begin to get more spike and that to coarse, thick tresses, and the worst part it grows fund really fast! I want the tresses to stay away for a minimum of 3weeks. So I'm thinking about wax, I just hope it doesn't hurt too much! Has anyone tried this formerly?
