What medication for Polycistic ovaries?

I went to my drs a few months ago as I display adjectives the symptoms for PCS. My doc says "oh yes, it sounds approaching PCS. The symptoms will lessen if you lose weight" I have tried to lose cargo but one of the symptoms of PCS is weight gain and difficulty in shaking it past its sell-by date.

I am also getting excess hair growth. I can just talk in the order of it to anyone as it draws attention to it if they have not already notice.

Is there any medication available? My doc sometimes take some persuading to write a prescription!! I would also love to hear about any herbal remedies.
Thanks

Messed Up Discharge>?

Of course the symptoms will attain better when you lose weight. The immensity loss and the other symptoms getting better will both be cause by you getting treatment for your problem! What kind of idiot doctor do you hold? Get a new doctor. One who will do his undertaking and treat you. Shesh.

I have read that birth control pills are the best/only treatment. They will go and get your hormones (including insulin, in a 2nd hand way) fund in procession.

Vaginal Infection?

I have hear that they are trying diabetic drugs for this from my own GP as I thought I ahd this but ended up it wasn't. If your GP is stubborn move to another one. Also if you can afford it have laser fuzz removal I did it's great.
Good luck.

Boob size?! is this normal?/?

Mostly purely birth control pills and sometimes pills for insulin resistance. My doctor and I have talk about me have it, and that's what he told me he will treat it with.

Small lesion type entity?

I had polycystic ovaries. There is no Medication. I have surgery which was on both (bilateral block resections) You should be seen by an endocronologist for the mane growth. It could be the name have slipped my mind but it goes foot in mitt with polycystic ovaries.

Why do..?

Ask your dr. something like metformin, it is a medication for hypoglycemia but my endocrinologist put me on it for PCS. The metformin will also help beside the weight loss.

For those beside fibromyalgia and in perimenopause?

There is the pill Danette which can be prescribed for the excess mane growth. This is obviously taken if you don't want to conceive as it is a contraceptive.near is some places that will give you cheaper electrolysis if you own written confirmation of a medical condition
There is metformin which is prescribed if you are insulin resistant/diabetic
To help near ovulation you are often given clomid this can give a hand to stimulate the ovaries to produce eggs
To help you enjoy a period they sometimes prescribe provera which is also a progesterone .
There is also ivf.
Have a look at a previous post of mine nearly herbal remedies that may help you. These shouldn't be taken if you are on other meds ie clomid.
