Ladies: What hold you tried? Help!?

I hate to be so personal but I enjoy a constipation problem. I drink plenty of water, I rob fiber pills. I was even on Zelnorm for a while and nil seems to lend a hand. I recently took an herbal laxative tea which didn’t work and I woke up contained by the middle of the night vomiting. Now, I hold just resolved to drinking Magnesium Citrate which is docile on my stomach but I can’t take it for longer than a few days and it taste horrible. Any alternative suggestions? Im dying here- so bloated and feel horrible!

You involve to go see your doc to find out what is cause your constipation. In the meantime there are tons of trial meds out that help near this but you need a characters for them. See the doc and get help out. Also since you hate mag citrate ask your pharmacist in the order of getting it stocked in a different flavor. You should drink prune juice on a daily basis or eat lots of prunes. Sit on the toilet every light of day for 5 minutes after you eat breakfast whether you budge or not to help retrain your bowels. Since you are constipated you want to use a stool softener 2-3 times daily close to colace or docusate. Also switch to something like metamucil or citrucel as fiber tab don't always work existing well. Increase your adjectives natural fiber by consumption lots of fresh fruits and veggies every day. If you haven't have a BM by the second day cart a laxative like Milk of Magnesia and afterwards follow up with a suppository surrounded by the morning if the MOM does not work. Also try adding Glycolax to your day after day routine. You can buy this over the counter.

Is your diet high within fiber? You need to be consumption oatmeal for breakfast, bran muffins, bran cereal, prune juice, shredded wheat. Those should do the trick if eat consistently.

I had that problem years ago. I took Metamucil. It be a powder that I mixed with wet, then drank. It really help keep me regular. The drink isn't awesome, but it's not yucky. In my assessment it was worth it.

I've get two 'natural things' you can do when you are 'seriously constipated' ... buy some 'prune liquid' but HEAT IT UP before you drink it ... for some defence, the 'heat' make it 'work really well' ... and the other answer is BLACK LICORICE. If you can get through at least 10 'sticks' of black licorice or the 'equivalent' your bowels will move much more 'effortlessly' and you may even get 'treated' to some diarrhea when you first start consumption 'candy' to control your constipation.
