Is it ok to start taking birth control pill 12 days after you start your interval?

I started my period 12 days ago, which is is unsurprisingly ended. I know you are supposed to start taking the pill the Sunday after.
I didn't start taking them closing Sunday because I didn't want the pill to interfere with my full length. So is it ok to start taking them tomorrow, especially since I am ovulating or close to?

The point why they tell you to start the sunday after your time of year ends is to better align your natural cycle beside the more regulated one ( by taking birth control). Taking them now could rationale you to have an irregular time of year and I would use a second form of birth control as well, since you are close to ovulation (like a condom). I would be on them for at least 2 weeks back you expect them to be effective satisfactory. You can start them any day and any light of day of the week you want just don't forget when u started. Docs enlighten you to wait until the sunday after ur extent so that it doesn't throw ur period stale. However ur period may hold gotten thrown off anyway its in recent times less promising if u start the sunday after. Plus its suppose to help u remember to cart your pill.

Well it depends, have you have unprotected sex since the FIRST day of your time of year. If not your probably okay. They say the sunday to form it easier for you to keep track of.
You want to be sure your not prego earlier starting the pills so if there is any break that you could be then dont bring them yet. But dont hold sour on taking them because there is a one-in-a-million destiny you could be and end up getting prego explanation not on pills. I did that with my oldest.
