The ob/gyn that deliver both of my kids was a man, and he be terrific. He actually save my youngest one's life. He have a female nurse surrounded by the room during every exam and made jokes and talk to me, so it wasn't any more embarrassing than beside a woman.

I own been to both. I didn't really find it awkward. I hold had dutiful and bad of both sexes. It is really roughly speaking the person more than their sex.
