Calcium during first trimester?
Answers: let put it this way -
my aunt go mad near her milk when she was pregnant, and she have a 12lb baby! diabetes test were carried out on the kid, but luckily it was adjectives clear.
now ''said baby'' is smaller and daintier than my 8lb daughter!! both are 6 presently.
I think too much calcium is insecure for the baby, but surrounded by moderation is ok, as it helps to strenghten their bones etc.,
If you hold any questions, reach a deal to your midwife / doctor
congratulations by the way. xx
PS.although I didnt see her whilst she be pregnant, (i lived 200 miles away.. I heard she become HUGE when pregnant.. so the above answerer has probably hit the fastener on the head.
Maybe it be making you gain weight. Your doctor is crazy. Switch doctors. 1000mg of calcium a daytime is recommended even for pregnant women. Maybe he was concerned just about too much vitamin D which may be in some calcium supplement. Take your calcium next to a glass of milk or freshly take your supplement beside food. The last 2 trimesters of pregnancy you engage more calcium than you do when you are not pregnant. Your baby wishes calcium..if you don't take attain enough calcium your body will simply purloin it from your bones to help your tot and you will increase your chances of developing osteoporosis.
I am not really sure why the doctor told you not too, but the in one piece time I was pregnant near my son I had fruitless acid reflux so I ate similar to a pack of Tums a day for the total pregnancy. Then when I delivered my son, he have a hard skull and it didnt "cone" similar to babies heads do when they come through the birth conduit and he had a subdurral hematoma. And my midwife asked me if I have taken in alot of calcium so I told her around all the Tums and she said that be why it happened. Ask your doc the origin and see what he says and mention my story and see if he agrees beside my midwife.
