Most possible, you're ovulating, which usually occurs roughly 14 days after the first day of your period (about in the middle through your full monthly cycle). I didn't start feeling ovulation until I be 21 or so. It causes a cramping reaction in your tummy, similar to your period, but slightly different...almost resembling a pinching feeling within one or both ovaries. I've learned to become aware of the difference between period cramps and ovulating cramps. You probably will too in time. I usually just notice ovulation cramping for one to two days though, so if it persist for much longer than five days, I would start to think in the order of seeing your gynecologist.
Oh - I see now that you say-so it's past your ovulation time. Are you sure you ovulated already (did you in truth feel it, or do you monitor it near basal body temperature, etc.)? It's possible that it is overdue this month; it's happened to me back even though my cycles are very regular. If you're sure it's not ovulation, and torment continues, I would definitely see your doctor. It's possible it's something similar to endometriosis, but could also be nothing - it's best to brand sure. Best wishes :)
