How long befores a birth control pill is considered 'missed'?

I realize it probably varies for respectively pill, but I'm taking Levlite 28 and I was wondering going on for how far off from your usual time you can take it while still maintain the full effects.

If you don't know the time limit for this focused type of pill, you can post any other time of any other pill- I'm just looking for a rough estimate.

Thanks for you relief and time! =)

With oral contraceptives that contain both estrogen and progesterone, there is a glass of at least 6 hours. After that, it's a moment or two iffy. But if you take in recent times that one pill late, and if you are within the middle of you pack, you should be OK.
It's more risky to miss one of the first pills in the pack, or one of the concluding ones (because they are closer to the week of placebo pills, and you are extending that hormone-free interval).

If you are on a progesterone only pill, approaching micronor or jolivet, it's different. You've got to give somebody a lift these within 3 hours of like peas in a pod time every day, or it's considered behind schedule.

it's not considered late until the subsequent day. Taking a pill a business of hours late is not going to hold any effect on the pill at all.
