I'm 42 and I have have two periods this month...4/1 for 5 days and 4/26...no unpredictability I'm pregnant?

I just discussed polycystic overies beside my doctor Tuesday. He said we'd discuss it next time because he be checking so many other things this week.
I am insulin resistant and hold never been pregnant...so I kinda fit the polycystic profile. And I notice my first "old woman " chin hair this week.

What do you believe?
Are my periods too close?
Do you judge I cold be polycystic?
Any chance I can entice these doctors
into performing a hysterectomy if I am polycistic?

Hormones?

Most people guess that your period comes every month close to clockwork-- not true. the average cycle is about every 28 days and since you started on the first it's not that suprising that you're have it again today.

your periods are not too close, it's going on for on target. i'd wait at tiniest another month before getting too worried.

i DO NOT come up with you have pcos. i enjoy it and if you did there are more symptoms: consignment gain, facial hair growth, and exceptional periods for nearly 4 months and in most cases no period at times.

if you do have cysts at hand are procedures that allow them to take the cysts w/o removing the ovaries. if you are looking for a hysterectomy though, depending on the severity some doc.s probably would consider it.

correct luck!

Have you had your IUD removed?

I would read out that you are certainly perimenopausal; find a doctor that you be aware of comfortable talking beside (NOT one who rushes you out of his/her office), and simply tell them what you want.

Do i own it?

Sweetie... have the doc check your hormone level if he isn't already... sounds more like peri menapause to me than PCOS.

Normally next to PCOS.. you have NO period.. or they are very spaced out... the coat growth is not just ONE aged lady fleece.. it's more like a males babyish teen beard growth.

Is there a instrument to have time at once, at the age of 12?

My wife had something similar though I cant evoke the abbreviations. Turned out she go total menopausal and was done by age 40. Rarely have hot flashes and doesnt seem too troubled at adjectives by this change. The Dr. didnt expect it was " false" menopause because she be pretty young at the time but terminated up being the material deal.
