Breast restoration to prevent cancer?
Hi my mum died 13 years ago followed a few years later by my mums sister, when my aunty died we found out it be a genetic cancer that they both had, it developes when you are 40, i am in a minute 34, one of my mums surviving sisters had reconstructive surgery to prevent her getting breast cancer my examine is should i get it or should i not... dont verbs im not basing my desition on the outcome a moment ago want to get an theory what other people would do, or if anyone have had it done

Yes, if I were you I would seriously reason about it. The alternative sucks. Think something like it---all they are are 2 lumps of fat. It's not your arms, legs or eyes. They can be reconstruct so no one but your closest nearest and dearest and friends will know.Oh yeah.

If someone told me that it be so likely- I guess I would go ahead and hold the breasts removed to buy myself a few more good years- I do approaching my life and would resembling to stay around as long as possible.
There was a great and inspiring story more or less a young woman on Oprah that be faced next to the same rough edict, but she chose life and go ahead with it. I believe she be pleased with her choice. She be done living in fear of getting the cancer and found some nouns when she knew she didn't enjoy to worry give or take a few it anymore. Honestly, if it were me I would return with the surgery before it's too belatedly. A double mastectomy is pretty big but with plastic surgery, not a soul would be the wiser to it. It's also a great way to be paid sure that you are around for your children (if you have any). If you remove the possible cancer verbs before the cancer develops, you also release yourself from chemo and other undesirable treatments that are known to construct the person touch sick for many months.You also may want to look at the money situation. Find out if your insurance company would cover such a procedure (it is predictable since it would cost them much more for the treatment vs the surgery)

Have you had genetic trialling yourself? It is possible that you did not get the gene. I'm assuming your family circle (mom and aunt) had genetic trialling themselves which is how they discovered their's was genetic. If so, this oral exam should be cheaper for you. I had trialling for the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, and it was a bit costly; however, once I and my insurance paid for mine, it lone cost my sisters a couple of hundred dollars for this. It has something to do near them knowing where to look for the gene surrounded by your DNA since they already know where it is contained by your mother/sister/aunt, etc. Many insurance companies will pay for the trialling (mine paid for comparatively a bit, and as I said, it was costly, can't remember, but over a thousand).
At any rate, hopefully you can enjoy the testing and can use that to build a more informed decision. If you hold the gene, then you know what you enjoy to do to prolong your life. If you don't hold the gene, it doesn't mean you won't take breast cancer, but I don't think I would own preventive masectomies in that valise.

Of course, if your household didn't have that gene, that does take home your decision a bit more difficult. I would probably be in motion ahead with the mastectomies within that case.

Reading some of the women's stories might also reassure you that you are doing the right thing by have the preventive mastectomies.
