i took elavil for chronic headache for over 10 years. it worked wonders for me. the only object i stopped was because i needed a stronger medication for my depression. since i stopped, my headache have come backbone, and i wish the doctor would put me rear legs on it!! i was on a big dose (100mg at bedtime). most people don't stipulation that high of a dose. devout thing be that i took it through my entire pregnancy and while i breastfed, with certainly no effects on my child (he's in order one and has adjectives A's!).
