Are high heels cause the numbness/shooting pain within my second toe?

I think that a secure pair of my shoes (sandals next to a narrow 3-4 inch heel) result in my second toe to become numb and tingly and painful. Usually it happen when I wear them and then go away at some point the next time. Is it okay to wear them once in a while (say once every 6 months or so), or is here a chance that I'll incentive permanent harm?

Wearing the wrong size shoe can cause everlasting damage. Ever hear of sledge hammer toe or bunions? I used to run a shoe store. I've seen various of them and they are caused by too shrink, too small shoes. Sandals are supposed to be comfy, aren't they?

Wearing them once in a while, if it's not going to be for a prolonged time, is okay. I wouldn't go dance in them.

A lot of peoples 2nd toe is bigger than their big toe ... this could be slice of the problem. Is your 2nd toe hanging over the front of your sandal?

When you wear 4" heels you tend to bend forward a wee bit, you don't stand up as straight as you would with flat shoes. So. what happen is that your hips are not getting the movement that they shoould be, you are leaning forward and this (according to my Specialist) is the grounds that hips start to hurt and you need hip-replacements within the future.
