Anyone have chronic yeast infections beside Yaz or Yasmin BCP's?

I have be on Yaz for almost a month now. Within the first week I developed a yeast infection. I saw my ob/gyn and hold now taken 2 rounds of Diflucan, a seven daylight (vaginal) prescription treatment, and now another vaginal treatment to be precise one dose (still waiting to see if that one helps). I recall getting chronic yeast infections while taking Yasmin several years ago, although at the time I didn't see the nouns. I'm wondering if it has anything to do next to the hormone DRSP which is found in Yaz/Yasmin.

Anyone hold the same problem? Were you competent to tollerate any other BCP's? I am interested in Loestrin 24, for the possibilty of short, light, or no period. Also, the 24 active pills are supposed to decline symptoms of PMS. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

What cause a yeast infection?
A yeast infection is caused by one or more of the following:

Hormonal change that come with pregnancy (See Yeast Infections During Pregnancy) or up to that time your period
Taking hormones or birth control pills
Taking antibiotics or steroids
High blood sugar, as in diabetes
Vaginal intercourse
Douching
Blood or semen

K i wanted to ask women (im a guy)?

I enjoy been on yasmin for over 2 years in a minute...{i haven't ever tried any other bcp} but I have the same problem next to chronic yeast infections, I also was tested for intestinal yeast overgrowth{which can do vaginal infections}, you may want to look into that too {i was told it be just IBS, but we'll see,lol}..I'm certainly getting ready to stat diflucan{oral} and probiotics and see if that help...Good luck, hope you feel better soon...
