I have be breastfeeding and my baby is very soon 16 months. The doctor seemed worried that my uterus have not started to function yet, and give me an injection of harmones in the butt. I am not sure what it was, but he said I will go and get my period in 2 weeks. I didn't have time to suggest it through first, and I am a little worried. I couldn't find any info on it on the internet....

Sorry but your doctor sounds similar to a quack. It is very adjectives for women to NOT have their period while breastfeeding. Call the office and ask what they give you. Perhaps you need a second view
