I feel your anguish! Literally! The same thing happen to me, twice.

I was completely on the ship with the Diva Cup-- I still mull over it's a great option for some women. I approaching the fact that it is right for the environment, and probably better for your health overall. But, for those of us prone to bladder infections, it's a taunt.

Some suggestions I have for you if you want to maintain trying it are to make sure that you enjoy the smallest size. (Unfortunately, I had the smallest size and still get a bladder infection.)

Also, try using a little bit of K-Y jelly to lend a hand with the insertion. That made it easier for me to insert, but I still feel the discomfort you felt. It be like a low, constant pressure on my bladder.

I talk to my doctor about it, and she said that my cervix is tipped freshly slightly, which might be causing the irritation and bladder infections. I figure I might as well ask her almost it, since I had to run in for the bladder infection anyway!

I've be practicing the insertions and removals, but not too many at once--- not more than once a sunshine to make sure I don't irritate things too much. And I devise I'm getting better at inserting it and making sure it's up big enough. I'm hoping by my subsequent cycle I'll be a pro at it!

I've found these message boards to be helpful, and I've well-read some other ways of folding it that seem to work better:

My best direction to you is to try it a few more times and hope for the best. From everything I've read, practice helps but for some women their anatomy may not cooperate fully next to their philosophy!

I'm a few days late. Is it stress or pregnancy?

I enjoy heard of the diva cup, but never hold used one. But after hearing your story I am markedly not even going to. I would not continue to use it especially if it have given you a bladder infection. You do not want to keep getting bladder infections or develop any problems from using it. Ask yourself, if the benefits will outweigh any potential problems you may frontage long term. Everyone's body is different, so some may use it and capture no adverse reactions for it approaching you did.
Sorry I could not be of more help.
Take thoroughness.
