ask your mom. i am sure she could relief. when i first got my extent i used pads. it wasn't until i go on vacation and i have my period did i enjoy to suck it up and use a tampon for a first time. personally i would use pad because i dunno, tampons are scary--toxic shock syndrome! and i think putting them in/taking them out hurt.
