When you make an appt. They will ask if you own a problem.You tell them it is the first time. The doctor will cooperate to you first before the exam. Another odds....You could seek a feminine Dr. As for your period....it depends on your age. A girl usually have her first exam when they get sexually alive. If you have (which I hope you haven't yet)...and if you are not pained or have any problems of bleeding, here is not a reason to grasp one.
