I just this minute started birth control pills....?

i was have long and very heavily built periods--about 9-10 days. upon going to my gynecologist for birth control, she suggested ortho-tricyclen.

my period started Wednesday, January 31th...i started taking my first pill on Sunday, February 4th...by monday my period was significantly lighter, but it still have not stopped! tomorrow will be 19 days, but it is light--so much so that i don't really need to wear a wipe, but still it hasn't completly stopped.
should i call my doctor on Monday? or a moment ago assume it's my body adjusting to the untried hormone levels?

Ovaries . Help !?

It could merely be the hormones. I had like problem with Ortho-Tricyclen though and it be the same means of access every month. After about 5 months I be able to convince them to administer me a prescription for another type. Problem stopped as soon as I started the new brand (Yasmin). They read aloud it can take 3 months for your body to adjust. Sometimes you also hold to try a few different types to the find the one that is right for you. I would tender it a bit longer. It is possible that by next month the problem will be gone. If it is still a problem contained by a few months see your doctor and switch brands as they have different dosages and even medication used in them.

Sex, how does it touch and what do half the words penny-pinching?

I would call the doctor. It's not majority to bleed that long when starting any birth control pill. Hormones or no hormones. Better to call the doctor and be not dangerous, than not call and find out too behind schedule you may have a serious problem.
You may be bleeding because you call for a stronger pill or you may have a problem.

Ask your Gyn.

I'm on the pill, and every month I return with my period right in good time?

The dose could be too low(you could need something beside a higher dosage), or your body is getting used to it. I deem its your body trying to get used to it inflict it happened to me..i be on my period for 2 weeks. THey articulate it takes nearly 3-6 months for your body to get used to it. If its street lamp, i wouldnt worry..simply if you were bleeding alot. But your not so i wouldnt verbs and it should go away soon.
