Did your weight increase, decrease, or stay the same while using the Depo Provera Birth Control Shot?

I gain 30 pounds with that shot contained by the span of 1 month. I had pregnancy symptoms and other felt approaching crap. It took 3 years for the shot to get out of my system. I didn't enjoy my period for something like 2 1/2 years. I am losing the weight in a minute that it is out of my system, but I couldn't lose any while it was within my system. I don't recommend the depo shot at all.

I won't even consider it. My sister within law gain weight everytime she get the shot. So did my best friend. Seems to be one of the main side effects--that is most noticable anyway

I lost 5 pounds at first, next gained 10 pounds. So overall I gain 5 pounds.

omg my counterweight increased soooo much when i started the Depo shots that i told my doctor that i wanted to travel back on the pill again...he said ok but that i would own to wait 4 months for the Depo to depart from my system. what a drag

I never used depo, because my best friend gained over 30 pounds on it.
