You need to report your doctor about any syndrome or infections you have have or presently have, or you could enjoy problems later.

They use a speculum to interested you up a bit and to get the pap smear. It may be a bit self-conscious while they get the smear, but it won't hurt since you're not a virgin. A pap smear is zilch and does not hurt. It only take a second. Don't worry going on for it.

If you're that nervous give or take a few seeing a Gyn, go to a woman one.

Being in labor will hurt A LOT more than have this exam.

Would this scenario be considered rape or molestation?

Yes you should let your Dr know roughly speaking UTI's. They will probably check for it every time you go anyway. It is exalted that they know because a UTI can progress to a kidney infection if left untreated. The Dr may also be capable of help you prevent getting them respectively month. As for the pap smear, I have never notice one to be painful, you will have a feeling some pressure and discomfort but not pain. As for you comfort even, make sure you are comfortable beside your doctor before you take the pap smear done, you don't have to be in motion with the first doctor you see.

I know this is gross but i have need of to know why..?

Pregnant women get UTIs more recurrently than non-pregnant women because the baby tend to lay on the bladder. It's not uncommon, but you should still detail your doctor. It's an infection, and yes, it could effect your baby. Is your urine cloudy but? That means you're ratification white blood cells from the infection. Call your docros ASAP. Don't be like a cat on a hot tin roof about getting a Pap smear. If you're pregnant, you hold to get used to have doctors down in that nouns anyway. And if you've had sex (and you hold, since you're pregnant), a Pap smear WON'T hurt. The speculum might be a bit uncomfortable, but it shouldn't be throbbing unless you're very bashful. They don't open you amazingly wide, a moment ago wide ample to get a preview of your cervix tissue. Explain to the doctor this is your first time having a Pap, and he or she will probably use the smallest size speculum for your comfort. Make sure you enjoy a good OB/GYN who will put you at make less burdensome, and nothing should be stinging or hurt at all. Good luck to you and your little one!

Could I be pregnant?

Yes, you're doc should be notified of your UTI. This is something that can be treated during pregnancy. As for the pap smear, if you hold not had an ob/gyn call in for your pregnancy yet, they will probably do a routine pap smear and STD trialling. I understand you anyone shy about your nouns but unfortunately during pregnancy, your "area" is no longer your own. They will not uncap you up very much near the speculum just long plenty to brush your cervix. It will be over and done before you know it and you and your little one will be on the road to a robust pregnancy. Good luck!
