Depo Shot and Pregnancy?

I've been on the Depo shot for just about a year now. Me and my husband plan to try for children surrounded by about 6-12 months. Recently everyone have been relating me since I been on the Depo shot that I will probably not be capable of get pregnant. I dont want to remain on the depo shot if its merely never going to let me own children. Also I hear so many impossible stories about the depo does anyone know any appropriate stories?
