How can I become a midwife?

I am on the waiting list at a local tech college for the nursing program. The waiting index is 2 years followed by 2 years of education. I thought I'd finish that and consequently work in a NICU or OB organization while going to school for midwifery. I'd really similar to to work with young-looking women to help them prevent premature births. However, I be told that I have it adjectives wrong and that this path to becoming a midwife is not the best one. So how does one become a midwife, but for like this? I am from Wisconsin.

Are you trying to become a midwife or a nurse/midwife? If you want to work beside young women to prevent premature birth, you will attain more of that in a hospital/OB bureau than you would as a midwife. This is soley because women who select midwives are usually already fairly okay informed. Consider contacting midwives already doing what you want to do to determine your best approach.

Yeast infection??

one thing they shud enjoy in these school is one day spent near a midwife who learned it from those who did only that for masses years; they know how to get it out [especially when in that is NO complications]without the metal things..and get it to a hospital if critical..they sure had a reaction place in the cabin of long ago...
