Shaving....?

After shaving with a mundane razor my legs become extremely itchy. SO i use an electric razor. But i arranged to try this thing call "silkymitt". which is basically close to soft sand paper. It did the living but now im legs are extremely itchy for the recent past couple of days and its driving me nuts. any idea how to soothe the itch?
