By counting the days in between as you would expect!! The window of what is conventional is a regular bleed between 25 days & 31 days - outside of this, is not normal. The average is 28 days from the first day of one length to the first day of the subsequent period. As long as your number of days is consistent & between the boundaries above, you are having regular period. If you have a term after 25 days one month & 30 days the next month - you are have irregular periods. Just details it in your diary & see what your cut-out is.you know when they are not like every 28 days. from the time you first start your spell until the next time you start should be 28 days apart if they are a wearing clothes number more or less apart afterwards they are irregular. its a little difficult to put surrounded by words. sorry if that didnt make sense. goodluck.
