Women and Men both produce two hormones, estrogen and testosterone. Testosterone is the one which causes manly traits, IE facila hair, larger muscle structure, etc.Women also produce this, but usually surrounded by much lower levels. When those level become higher, because of inheritance or even from taking steroids, then they start to exhibit mannish traits. their voices become deeper, they can grow facial fuzz, and also develop larger muscles.
Most everyone has some amount of facial spike, but on a woman with misty hair it will be much more evident.
