What happened to Playtex tampons? Where can I buy them or a similar substitute in the UK?
Playtex tampons used to be available in Boots. Tampax are the wrong shape and no polite as a substitute. The only place I've be able to find Playtex is on an online site for ex-pats, and the postage is expensive. I even wrote to Playtex using the address on their box, and get no reply.

In Britain the Playtex tampon, which received much bad publicity be banned from media hype by a leading publisher and eventually be withdrawn. The only place that I enjoy seen Playtex tampons just this minute is in the states, where on earth it's a popular brand.
There are people on eBay who are selling them from the states, they do worldwide nativity.

The postage for the ones currently listed are a touch expensive $28 (lb16) for 5 boxes of 20. But in completed items a box of 500 sold for approx lb50 inc P&P, which works out at nearly 10p each.
I know how high-status it is to stick with a brand you go and get on with, I hope that you govern to get a regular supply. Good luck!

have you tried ebay.tampax is as good.in that was a scandal around it being advertise on telly some time ago.i dont know how it all go but after tht thats is when it became alarm on the shelves.try lillets as well
