Taking the pill, and been bleeding for two weeks now - hormone dose too low? Pills too old?

Hi ladies, (or knowledgable men), I just started on the pill after not taking it for years. I started taking the pill on the first afternoon of my period and own been taking it every sunshine, trying to take it other in the morning. And although my flow become very frothy, it has not stopped. Is it possible that this hormone does is too low for me? I noticed that these pills are dated to expire remarkably soon. Could it be because the pills are too old? Thank you.

Does a pap smear hurt or it is largely uncomfortable?

Breakthrough bleeding is bleeding while taking the alive pills of oral contraceptives, or other hormonal contraceptives. The bleeding is usually light, regularly referred to as "spotting," though a few women may experience heavier bleeding. Breakthrough bleeding is most common when a woman first begin taking oral contraceptives, or changes from one unusual oral contraceptive to another, though it is possible for breakthrough bleeding to happen at any time.

Many women find that the breakthrough bleeding cease after one or two cycles. Breakthrough bleeding that does not resolve on its own is a common function for women to switch to different Pill formulations, or to switch to a non-hormonal method of birth control.

Breakthrough bleeding is most commonly caused by an excessively gooey endometrium (uterine lining). This is not a dangerous condition, though the unpredictable and repeatedly lengthy period of bleeding are unpleasant for the woman. Breakthrough bleeding may also be caused by hormonal side effects of ovulation. If the Pill is not suppressing ovulation, the woman is at glorious risk of pregnancy. Breakthrough bleeding may also itself be a symptom of pregnancy (contraceptive failure).

the same thing be happening to me!! i kept wise saying "ok, if this doesn't get better by subsequent month i'll call the gyn". i'm on my third pack and appreciation goodness everything is final to normal. i regard as just sway in here, your body just requests to adjust.

swollen feet?

Since you've lately started after being bad for a long time, it's like taking it again for the first time ever - your body requirements time to adjust.

However, some women experience breakthrough bleeding because the dosage is too low. That's what happened to me when I be on Alesse, it was not strong plenty for me and I kept bleeding through.

Talk to your doctor about it - it might be the dosage, it might be your body's adjust, or it might be something completely different. (Ps make sure you're taking it at matching time every day, not lately the same time OF hours of daylight - some women are very sensitive to these things and it make a difference)
