What Are the Pros and Cons of Stopping My Birth Control Pills After Almost 7 Years?

I've been taking the pill for nearly 7 years straight now short a break. At the end of this cycle, my prescription for this year runs out. I'm thinking about giving my body a break from it for a while. I'm a fully grown and responsible adult and won't get pregnant if I shift off of it. I'm just wondering what the pros and cons are for my over adjectives well being if I choose to stop taking it for a while. Thanks.

Answers:    Well, if everything's ok next to your body, doctors will probably say there's no medical reason to embezzle a "break" from the pill.

The most obvious con is that you will have to use another form of contraception unless you are planning a child.

And if you found it useful to have a regular extent, or skip it, or your period was superior, you won't be able to do that any more. Some women get side effects when they stop taking the pill but I don't have a sneaking suspicion that that lasts for long.

I recommend you talk to your doctors more or less your concerns.
