Does infallible kind of antibiotics stop birth control from working?

i am taking clydamysin and i was hoping that it doesn't stop my BC from working

Answers:    All antibiotics cause birth control pills/patches to be ineffective for as long as you're taking the antibiotics.

Actually, I don't know if it's ALL antibiotics, but better safe and sound than sorry.

Ask your doctor if your antibiotics do..
I HATE clyndamysin...that crap nearly made me dehydrated from all the "runs" I get...ugh. Good luck to you! Careful because it could get u real sick.really monitor yourself! And yes...birth control does not work properly while you are on any type of antibiotic...use condoms or spermacide for the time you are on the meds! Feel better! All antibiotics clear birth control ineffective. Its just not infective for the time your are taking the antibiotic, your whole month will be messed up..
um... clydamysin is spelled process wrong. Its clindamycin. Sorry. I'm an EMT and it drives me crazy when drug names are spelled wrong. :)
All antibiotics do...talk to your doc..
