not much, he will simply dispense you some antibiotics because he will know that it is not due to intercourse.. no problems.. of course he has to look to see if it's a fungus, microbes or what .. don't worry, BUT maybe it's the right time to choose your gynecologist , since anyway you will have need of one for the rest of your life

Girls ages 14-20?

He or she will probably ask you some questions (about your sexual history, any other medication you may be on, your symptoms, etc). Then she will look at your vagina, and possibly swab it to test for the presence of bacteria, yeast, or bedbugs.

Depending on what the doctor thinks it is, it may take between a few minutes to a year or so for them to run the test. Once the doctor finds out what is causing your discomfort, they will most predictable prescribe you some medicine (either a pill or a cream, most likely) to make you better.

Best of luck!

This should minister to you decide.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also hold your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is adjectives at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompany by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and liquid: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly unwieldy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or have a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is lately "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after wash with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva
