I am on my menstral cycle right now and last dark i noticed that when i squeeze around my breast it is like i'm lactating. A white substance comes to the surface. I'm really confused because i've be on birth control. About a year ago i was 5 months along and had a miscarriage so i know what it is approaching to start lactating. What do you suggest?

Is it normal to lactate while on your period? (maybe due to hormones?)

It is not average to lactate if you are not pregnant. You should go to your doctor. It could be a sign of a prolactin imbalance.
