Does taking the pill at different times each day make it less effective?
Answers: There is a fair amount of leeway. However if you consistently take it at variable times the efficacy may be compromised..
As far as I am aware, there are different types of pill and if you are on the mini pill it is important you take it at the same time everyday, however, if you are not, so long as you take it within reasonable time differences it should not make any difference at all.
Please read your information sheet which is enclosed with your tablet in order to be clear what type of pill you are on and how to effectively take it. And if you are still not sure, a simple phonecall to your local well woman clinic or docs should be able to claify any lingering doubts. depends who you ask, i have been told so many things. I fell pregnant on the pill for the excact reason that i was not taking it the same time every day. Say you took it a 10 am one day and the next day at 3pm that means you have 5 hours of not being protected. hope that helps..
Yes, definitely. Because it means if you took it at 9am one day, and then 2pm the next day, that has been more than 24 hours between doses and therefore the levels of hormone in your blood have dropped. Read the information leaflet.
Some pills are different, some you have a three hour window and some up to 12.
It depends on the brand and type you are asking about..
i think so but i take it at different times every night within an hour but ya id like to no the answer to!
