Yes, ever since I started getting my periods I've had lower abdominal pain/cramps. Every month when I attain my cycle, I have to have the first morning of my cycle in bed with a hot wheat backpack. I also take Ibuprofen which seems to work sometimes but still hold to go to sleep. Have tried many different tablets and nil has worked.
When i was on the pill i have no pain but got mood swings. I also pocket vitamin E tablets and since i've started taking these, the pain isn't as bad. I used to vomit the in one piece day but since I've taken the Vitamine E tablets, I only seize the bad cramps. Take Care..

Live healthily...watch your weight, do some exercise, put away a good diet, drink plenty of water, even if you do carry a bit bloated around period time.
Take pain killer only if really bad, try heat up wheat bags or hot water bottles on your tummy

Keep warm eg. hot marine bottle,
Massage the pain,
Lie down.
