Girl Only Please!?

I 13 and I think I started my Period today. How can I give an account since it can take up to 2 years to be "regular"? Is here any tips about inserting a tampon? Can someone explain TSS? ( Toxic Shock Symdrom?) I am really anxious about that. Thanks, SmartBlonde

Answers:    Relax! Try not to verbs about inserting the tampon right the first time. If you are taut it will make insertion harder.
The best time to practice inserting a tampon is during the stocky part of your time. The tampon should glide inside your vagina efficiently without any discomfort.
Decide if you prefer to insert the tampon standing or sitting. If sitting is your nouns, sit on the toilet. If you want to try standing, putting one foot on the bathtub help.
Hold the tampon applicator in your right paw if you are right-handed, or left if left-handed.
Use your thumb and middle finger to hold the bottom of the larger, outer tube.
Point the tip of the applicator toward your vagina, facing slightly towards the rear. The smaller tube should be pointed away from your body.
Use your other hand to stretch out your vagina.
Place the tip of the applicator at the opening of your vagina.
Gently push the smaller conclusion of the applicator in until it is completely inside the larger outer tube. This pushes the tampon into your vagina and out of the tube.
With your thumb and middle finger still on the outer tube, release the smaller tube and consent to the strings dangle freely.
Gently pull the two tubes out together.
Dispose of the applicator according to the manufactuer's instructions.
When you are equipped to remove the tampon, gently verbs the withdrawl strings down and forward. The used tampon may be flushed down the toilet.
Tips:
Lubricating the rounded end of the tampon beside a water-based lubricant such as K-Y Jelly can make insertion easier the first few times. Don't use petroleum jelly.
Always read the manufactuer's instructions throughly back using any type of tampon.
If the tampon feels self-conscious it is probably not inserted far enough into your vagina. Try again next to a new tampon.

TSS Warning Signs
Symptoms of toxic shock syndrome can be easier said than done to recognize because they mimic the flu. If you experience sudden lofty fever, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, faint, or a rash that looks close to a sunburn during your period or a few days after, contact your doctor right away. Also, if you're wearing a tampon, remove it promptly. One or two weeks after initial symptoms begin, flaking and crumbling of the skin occurs, primarily on the palms and soles. If your doctor determines that your symptoms are TSS, you will probably be sent to a hospital for treatment. With proper treatment, patients usually get powerfully in two to three weeks.

Women below 30, especially teenagers, are at a higher risk for TSS, because some females that age may not on the other hand have antibodies to the toxin. Using any description of tampon--cotton or rayon of any absorbency--puts a woman at greater risk for TSS than using menstrual pads.
It can filch up to a year for it to become regular. Im 16 , Tss is when you use a tampon that is to considerable ( absobancy ) you need to cash you tampon at least every 4 hours or so and use the lowest abs. possiable. progress talk to your mom something like the rest ! Good Luck ! Well just bring to the fore one leg and insert it up ur "u know wat". TSS is rare and u dont acquire it unless u abuse the tampon. so dont verbs im 14 and i started wen i was 12. Tampons r bearing better b/c u dont haf to sit on the pad. OK?
you really want to talk to your mom give or take a few the tampon thing.if you cant afterwards you should ask someone for help they can be tricky sometimes Like you said, it'll bring a while for your period to become "regular", if it ever does. Some women's period aren't ever regular. You can find lots of tips on inserting tampons online, but my tips are just to relax and slide it contained by. TSS is when you leave a tampon within for too long (more than 6 or 8 hrs) and your vagina starts to get infected. To prevent that, other switch tampons every 5-6 hours and you should be fine.
I can't explain TSS, but the only authentic tips i can give near inserting a tampon is to not hold in your breath, and breath customarily. Before you do it, don't get frantic, that will only engender it worse. The only passageway to really see if it's a regular period and you're starting, is to put on a pallid pad, and dawdle til the next daylight.

first, it doesnt matter whether its regular, if its ur term, its ur period. and yess, it can pinch two years, more or less, to het regular!!

TSS is a disease you attain when you leave within a tampon for more than eight hours. if you change it after 8 hrs and 1 min, you will be ok. but capture into the habit of taking them out past eight hours!! also, dont use them if yoyur overall flow is really light, and its usually reading light at the beginning and winding up of ur period, so i wouldnt use it after
