How do I dance more or less getting a birth control perscription contained by Germany?

I'm currently studying abroad surrounded by Germany and would like to turn on the pill. I have the mandatory state insurance, but be wondering to what extent it would cover birth control pills, trips to the gyn, etc, or even if I could just budge to the general doctor that I'd already see here once. If anyone has any information on how much this would cost for someone who is 21, etc etc, it would be greatly helpful, as my insurance company's website is embryonic about it.

Answers:    The with the sole purpose experience I have is that you can't buy any medication in Germany lacking a prescription and the Germans are so very strict. What I would do, assuming you speak a bit of German is nickname one or two gynecologist in your town and find out something like the cost of a visit, perchance the receptionist knows how to grasp about the form insurance you have. I tried to find on the Internet but couldn't find any information, you might want to dance through the Yellow pages of German (Gelbe siten).
