I was given the injection 2 1/2 weeks ago to put me into the menopause but i have of late started bleeding quite heavy (with clots) this morning!!
Has anybody else have this whilst on the injection and does anyone know if it is normal?

hi, i am also having matching problem with prostap, i phoned the nhs direct helpline and they reassured me this be normal for the first couple of month of the injections, i have a appiontment near my gyne next week, so i will be asking his opinion, i will consent to you know the outcome, but i dont think this is any thing to verbs about.

Vagina..Period??Is It??

Some bleeding can occur when starting out on this medication because the body is trying to adjust. This bleeding is call breakthrough bleeding which is bleeding that can act a lot approaching a period although it isn't. It can take the body in the order of 3 months to adjust to being on the medication like beside the pill but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they enunciate.
