I am menstrating. Last night when I go to the bathroom and I noticed what looked approaching a blood clot that was something like the size of a golf ball. I enjoy always notice what look like strings (I'm assuming they are tissue?) just about the length of my fingers but this is the first time I enjoy noticed a globe like this. My mother have surgery to remove endometriosis around her utuerus two years ago. Is it possible for me to have endometriosis eventhough I don't enjoy the classic symptoms of heavy bleeding, impossible cramps or exhaustion? My period are on a pretty regular shedule. I haven't used any kind of chemical or implantation birth control. My husband and I solely use condoms once in a while. So I know its not complications from that. I in the main want to know if I should be worried about this and what it could be a symptom of.

Answers:    You should enjoy saved the clot for pathological nouns. But you should still make an appointment next to your doctor to talk nearly your concerns.

Right off the top of my commander -- and certainly not to upset you contained by any way -- but a "clot" that size usually would be produced by an embryonic growth...and subsequent miscarriage. OR, it could own simply been a roomy lump of menstrual tissue released all at one time.
Again though, simply a doctor could tell you for sure...and it is the intention for retention of the tissue matter for pathology.

Endometriosis, BTW, will not effect your menstrual flow within the way you assume. The endometrial tissue grows OUTSIDE the uterus (which is what cause complications & pain), so it doesn't actually discharge through the vagina resembling a normal menses would.
