Who think that I should own a D&C instead of a hysterectomy?
Answers: since you own had your tubes tied and plan to never own children again, and realize this will be the end to that phase of you natural life, the yes either make clear to DR you have presently what you want or find new one
The down spatter to a hysterectomy, well you could travel though the change of energy as soon as you wake up,(if they nick ever thing that is) and that's not fun, so you will hold to start hormone replacement at once to stop it and will have to pinch it as long as you are sexually active, and at 33 that's going to be a while
I'm 50 and its a aching at times but for me it was no choice as I have large tumors and have to had hysterectomy so I use a patch
Just realize that you don't lately have the surgery and everything is fine, you still own many adjustment to make, your system is going to be varying and needing hormone replacement. But single you can know if this is really what you need and want because you know your body
how just about an ablation instead of a hysterectomy? The ablation (look up Novasure) heats up the facing of the uterus and basically cauterizes the uterus minus having to step through surgery. It's being used as an alternative to hysterectomy immediately.
I know the feelings you're have though. If this doctor is dragging her feet, impart her the ultimatum. Either she does what she's supposed to do or you fire her and get another doctor.
I totally agree,I'd hold the hysterectomy I sympathize with you. Have you have a D&C done before? If not, it's worth a try. It's like mad better than all the after effects of a hysterectomy.
Plus, your insurance most imagined would not pay for a hysterectomy unless it be a medical necessity; meaning in that was no other treatment that would work save for a hysterectomy. They get pissy around stuff like that.
However, I own a co-worker who had some sort of procedure done where on earth some sort of barrier be put into the uterus...she had alike problem..excessive bleeding. It stopped her periods and she have no more problems. It is referred to as some sort of hysterectomy. Your doctor would know what it was.
I have the same problem surrounded by my 30's and I think I have 2 or 3 D&C's. It does help relatively a bit.
D&C's effectiveness will depend on what is cause your bleeding. and even if you're gonna have it done, at hand is no guarantee that the bleeding will stop. it's all up to you on how you be aware of about have a hysterectomy done. but since you already have a kid and unless you're planning to enjoy another baby, next i think that hysterectomy is the best substitute. at least you won't own to deal near what you're going through right now anymore. no more sanitary pad! :)
