Does anyone know what a Hysieroscopy and an Endametrial Biopsy is please.?

Answers:    they are going in and looking at the uterus (with a scope) while also taking a indication of the endometrial tissue (uterine lining).
HYSTEROSCOPY

A hysteroscopy is a way for your doctor to look at the bin liner of your uterus. He or she uses a thin viewing tool call a hysteroscope. The tip of the hysteroscope is put into your vagina and gently moved through the cervix into the uterus. The hysteroscope have a light and camera hooked to it so your doctor can see the inside layer (endometrium) on a video screen.

A hysteroscopy may be done to find the end in of abnormal bleeding or bleeding that occur after a woman has passed menopause. It also may be done to see if a problem within your uterus is the reason a woman cannot become pregnant (infertility). A hysteroscopy can be used to treat growths within the uterus, such as fibroids or polyps.

ENDOMETRIAL BIOPSY

An endometrial biopsy is a way for your doctor to thieve a small sample of the bin liner of the uterus (endometrium). The sample is looked at below a microscope for abnormal cell. An endometrial biopsy helps your doctor find any problems within the endometrium. It also lets your doctor check to see if your body's hormone level that affect the endometrium are in set off.
