Lots of NuvaRing Questions?
Will my partner be able to have a feeling it during intercourse? Will I?
Am I still protected during the week that I do not have it within? Or should we use condoms during that week?
I am terrified of getting hold of weight (I'm individual 5'2', so even a little immensity is a big deal), how much weight gain is typical on NuvaRing?
Is near another form of BC that is safer? I don't enjoy a history of cervical, ovarian, or breast cancer in my home, but my maternal grandfather died of lung cancer (pack a morning smoker for 25 yrs), my paternal grandfather died of leukemia, and my uncle died of brain cancer (possibly from boss trauma as a child, but not sure of the cause). Is this one particularly risky? I am a huge robustness nut and naturalist, and I hate the perception of anything unnatural in my body (i.e. birth control), but I detestation the idea of human being pregnant right now even more! All counsel is GREATLY appreciated :)!!
Answers: During sex, neither my partner or I feel it. My husband have said that he has feel it on occasion, but it's not bothersome or distracting.
You are protected the week you own your period and the ring is not contained by, no back-up method is needed. Think of this week as the week you'd be taking the sugar/placebo pills of your pack with birth control pills.
I enjoy not experienced weight gain next to NuvaRing and do not think that freight gain is typical, especially any more than any other hormonal method.
NuvaRing is relatively low-dose and is highly forceful since it pretty much removes all the human error factor that comes next to forgetting to take a pill every once within a while or something like that. Before NuvaRing, I be on the patch and experienced horrible physical and mental health consequences from it, but hold experienced no negative side effects worth mentioning on NuvaRing.

I'm one and the same way, B.C. is stopping your body from doing what it is supposed to do fluently, ovulate.. Birth Control is very insecure, you run the risk of blood clots in your heart and lungs, heart attack and stroke, not to mention substance gain and low sex drive. All this no matter how infantile you are. Just use rubbers and the sponge, you'll thank yourself later. Yes to be exact alot of questions. I've be using the ring for about 6 months very soon and started from not being on any other form of BC.
Most partner don't feel it, according to research and my bf definietly does not be aware of it. I am 5'2" and 98lbs and have not put on any mass but the side effects are different for every women. You could put on weight near any form of birth control depending on how your hormones react. I know that Nuva Ring just released enough hormones within your body unlike the pill that you consume with a standard amount.
The risk is like peas in a pod for all birth control. One article though, Nuva Ring is pretty new so near is no long term research or specified long term effect. So if to be exact your concern you should so with something that have been out for a long time. DO NOT USE ORTHO EVRA patch, they are bad and research enjoy shown significant bloodclots.

i have be on the nuvi ring for 2-3 years i havent gained any immensity from it but the first time i started b/c i took the depo shot and gained 50 ibs i cant loose the solidity sence i have be on b/c sence. i am alergic to latex so it is important for me to remian on the ring. u dnt wanna enjoy sex unless u use other protection during the week u take it out. it is also normall to not start your time of year the day u transport it out it can take a few days. it works great for me i cant consistency it during intercorse but my boyfriend can sometimes. it can sometimes get wrapped around the penis and be pulled out but u can well just put it wager on in. no big traffic. in your crust i think you should try it every one react different and i have be on the patch and the pill and the shot so far the ring has worked best for me.
