Help, please? Nuva Ring users?

Hi.
I simply started using the Nuva Ring; I'm on the second week.
I inserted the first ring on the first afternoon of bleeding of my concluding term... ok, that be... 16 days ago... and I STILL HAVE MY PERIOD!
What the heck? Before I have the Ring, my period be 7-9 days, tops...
Is this a everyday article? Help!
