Has anyone else taken any hormonal treatment to induce menstruation and ovulation?

I go to the gyno today for my pap and annual exam... and I haven't be have my interval, and I'm not pregnant.

I'm have some blood work done to check my thyroid level, prolactin level, insulin level, and other hormone level tommorrow.

There is a possibility that she is going to put me on medication that manually embezzle over my cycle: cause me to hold my extent when I should, and ovulate when I should.

Has anyone else ever tried a similar treatment? and what be your experience near it?

i have irregular period that be come every two months or so, the gyn prescribed some hormonal pills ( i'm not sure if they be birth control ones as i hear sometimes they endow with u those) which eventually regulated my term

ok i know this is a unnatural give somebody the third degree but does anyone know why a vagina may smell close to rust or metallic?

my daughter (10)will catch a similar treatment surrounded by a few yrs but it will single be to induce menstruation not ovulation as my daughter can not ovulate as her ovaries do not work.
as far as i know the contraceptive pill can be used at tiniest to impart "periods" not sure how it works for ovulation though..
