The last time I got my period, there were blobs of blood...is this normal??

I wear pad and this be the first time when I've have my interval that when I be done going to the bathroom and wipe, near be these gooey blobs of what I presume be blood. The size adjectives, sometimes smaller and sometimes pretty big. I hold no clue if this is mundane or not....any serve would be great...thank you!!
