I just had "IUD"(Merina) put in today, need some help...?
Is it true that I will not enjoy ANY period for complete 5 years and will merely enjoy spotting for intact 5 years? I am audible range deeply of conflicting stories, if you hold any positive or gloomy experiences, can you please share? Thanks.

I enjoy have the Mirena for over six months. I have it placed on the 3rd afternoon of my spell. I haven't have a actual interval since consequently. Like the other women on here......I enjoy have a great deal of spotting.........but that is to say so much better next the starchy sensitive period I used to hold. The spotting is getting smaller number and smaller quantity presently and an added bonus........no more PMS! Very pleased next to the result to bring the IUD!

I own have Merina since October 2006 and I chose this course of treatment because my period be becoming extraordinarily pouring and hurting. The first couple of weeks I have a "light" extent, and contained by November, December and January I have "spotting" that last simply a few days, but still have some of like peas in a pod pre-period symptoms (fatigue and minor bloating), but no more unwieldy period (yeah!!). Overall, this be the best decree I could own made because the lovely subdivision is if my fiancee and I desire to enjoy a child this will not do anything to negatively affect my fertility. Good luck!I get a Merina put in August 2006 and I enjoy simply have 1 spell, which last 3 days and since after own have spotting. The first couple of months I have spotting nearly every afternoon, but the concluding couple of months have be almost not any. Plus the biggest bonus of all- NO CRAMPS. I love it.
The Merina works differently for different women. I still have period that last five to six days when I have mine, but they be not as substantial.
Please mind your Ps and Qs though. After a year and a partially, I developed an allergic hypersensitivity to mine. The symptoms be similar to a PID infection. I have to own mine removed and be treated next to antibiotics.
