Could I have a hernia?

I've get a drastically sharp/pressure niggle contained by my right groin nouns when I try to stand up from sitting. There is a particularly small lump something like the size of a small pea contained by equal nouns. Doctor not sure whether it is a hernia or not. Do hernias motive you to hold the opinion that your leg won't support your counterweight and also extreme dull pain?
